Setting Up Your First Automated Crypto Trade: A Beginner's Guide

To start automated crypto trading with QARI, you need three things: a free QARI account, a Bybit exchange account with some USDT, and about 10 minutes. No trading experience is required. QARI handles all the analysis, decision-making, and execution — you just set your preferences and let it run. This guide walks you through every step, from registration to your first autonomous trade, in plain language with no jargon.

Step 1: Create Your QARI Account

Go to app.qari.trade/register and sign up with your email address. You will receive a verification email — click the link to confirm your account. Your 3-month free trial starts automatically. No credit card is required. During the trial, you can trade with up to $500 USDT and have up to 5 positions open at once.

Step 2: Create a Bybit Account

If you do not have a Bybit account yet, go to bybit.com and register. Complete the identity verification (KYC) process — this is required by Bybit for trading. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for security. Then deposit USDT into your Bybit spot wallet. You can start with as little as $20, though $100 is recommended for the calibration phase. USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar — it is the base currency QARI uses for all trades.

Step 3: Create Your API Key

This is the most technical step, but QARI guides you through it with screenshots. In your Bybit account, go to Account Settings and then API Management. Click Create New Key and choose System-generated API Key. Set exactly these permissions: Read (checked), Spot Trading (checked), Withdrawals (NOT checked — never enable this), Derivatives (NOT checked). Add the QARI server IP address to the whitelist for extra security. Copy the API Key and API Secret — you will paste these into QARI in the next step. Your key can only place spot trades. It can never withdraw funds from your account.

Step 4: Connect Your Exchange in QARI

In the QARI dashboard, go to Settings and then Exchange Connection. Paste your API Key and API Secret into the fields. Click Test Connection. QARI will verify that your key works, that it has spot trading permission, and that it does NOT have withdrawal permission. If everything checks out, you will see a green "Connected" badge. Your API credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage — QARI cannot see your actual key values after they are saved.

Step 5: Choose Your Risk Level

QARI presents three risk presets in plain language. Conservative means QARI trades smaller positions and targets safer setups — the stop-loss is tighter and the maximum number of positions is lower. Balanced is the recommended default — it offers a good trade-off between opportunity and protection. Aggressive means QARI takes more positions and trades larger setups — higher potential return but also higher risk. You can customise individual parameters later in Settings, but the presets are a great starting point.

Step 6: Set Your Capital Allocation

Enter the maximum amount of USDT you want QARI to use. This is not a deposit — the money stays in your Bybit account. QARI will never spend more than this amount. The minimum is $20. During the free trial, the maximum is $500. Start small and increase as you gain confidence. A plain-language warning reminds you: only use money you can afford to lose. Crypto trading carries risk, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Step 7: Consent and Go

The final step is data consent. QARI learns from every trade it makes — including yours. Only anonymised trading data (not your name, email, or balance) is used to train the collective intelligence engine. This makes QARI smarter for everyone, including you. Check the consent box (required) and click Start Trading. QARI is now active on your account.

What Happens After Setup

QARI begins scanning 140+ cryptocurrency pairs every 5 minutes. It applies its 11-layer analysis engine to each symbol: market structure, liquidity, order blocks, volume, sentiment, Fibonacci, indicators, order book, VWAP, session context, and BTC dominance. When it finds a setup with minimum 3-point confluence, R/R of at least 2.0, and all 16 risk gate checks passing, it places a trade on your Bybit account.

You will receive a Telegram alert for every trade event — entry, partial profit, stop-loss, trailing activation, and full exit. You can also monitor everything in the QARI dashboard: your portfolio overview, open positions, pending setups, and historical trades. QARI runs 24/7. It does not sleep, does not get emotional, and does not chase bad setups. It waits for quality and executes with discipline.
