Your first trade: what to expect

What Happens After You Enable Trading

The moment you enable auto-trading in your QARI dashboard, the engine begins scanning. QARI analyses the entire configured universe of cryptocurrency pairs continuously. It is not waiting for you to do anything else.

Behind the scenes, QARI is running every candidate symbol through its 11-layer engine and building a score. Any symbol that scores high enough moves to the pre-entry checks stage. Only if all 16 pre-entry checks pass does QARI place an order.

What you should do after enabling trading

Nothing. Enabling auto-trading is all that is required. QARI handles everything from this point forward.

Why QARI Might Not Trade Immediately

It is completely normal to see zero trades in the first few days. This is not a bug or misconfiguration. QARI only enters a trade when all 16 pre-entry checks pass simultaneously.

Market conditions

If volatility is too low or too high, or if BTC dominance is in an unfavourable range, many setups will fail the regime and ATR checks.

Setup quality bar

QARI needs at least three confluent signals from its 11 layers. Generic market conditions without clear structural setups will produce no candidates above threshold.

Your risk settings

If your minimum stop-loss depth exceeds the current market structure for available setups, those setups will not pass the R/R ratio check (minimum 2.0R required).

Capital requirements

If your available USDT balance is below the minimum per-trade allocation, no trades can be placed. Ensure your exchange wallet has sufficient free balance.

Cooldown periods

After a stop-loss, QARI enforces a cooldown on that symbol. It will not re-enter the same symbol until the cooldown clears.

Do not panic and do not lower your standards

Patience is built into QARI's design. Forcing trades in poor conditions is the single most common way manual traders lose money. QARI is designed to wait. Give it time.

What Your Dashboard Shows When a Position Opens

When QARI places Leg 1 of a trade, several things happen simultaneously.

  1. 1

A Telegram alert is sent to your connected Telegram account with the entry details.

  2. 2

The Open Positions table in your dashboard shows the new position with entry price, current price, unrealised P&L, stop-loss level, and profit targets.

  3. 3

Your available USDT balance decreases by the Leg 1 amount plus the Leg 2 reservation.

  4. 4

The R-tracker records that a position is open.

You may also see a second alert later when Leg 2 fills (after the CHoCH confirmation). Leg 2 is the second tranche of the position and only enters when the trade structure confirms.

Understanding the R-Tracker

The R-tracker measures your trading performance in risk-adjusted units rather than raw profit or loss. One R is the amount you risked on a single trade. If you risked $100 and made $200, that is a 2R result.

QARI tracks your daily R total and your weekly R total. When either limit is hit (by default: -2R per day, -5R per week), QARI pauses new entries for the rest of that period as a safety mechanism.

Resets each day

Weekly kill switch

-5R

Resets each week

You can view your current R position in the R-Tracker section of your dashboard. This is one of the most important numbers to monitor weekly.

What to Do When You See a Trade

When you receive your first trade alert or see a position open in your dashboard, the correct response is to do nothing. QARI is managing the position. It will move the stop to breakeven when appropriate, scale out at profit targets, and close the trade when the exit conditions are met.

Review the alert

Check the entry price, stop-loss level, and profit targets. Understand what the trade is and why it was taken.

Monitor the dashboard

You can watch the position develop in real time in the Open Positions table. Unrealised P&L updates live.

Do not interfere

Manually closing, adjusting, or overriding QARI trades disrupts the system and breaks the statistical edge the engine builds over many trades.

Wait for the close alert

QARI will send a Telegram alert when the trade closes. The alert includes whether it was a stop-loss, PT1, PT2, or trailing exit.
